Bullock’s Oriole
The bird from our watershed for March is the Bullock’s Oriole, which arrives in the foothills of Central California in late March and stays until September. They breed and nest in open woodlands and riparian areas, building a gourd-shaped nest of grasses, hair, twine, or wool.
