Sewing Peace

One way Willow Avenue seeks to embody Belonging, Inquiring, and Transforming is our Sewing Peace group, which aims to foster fellowship and peacemaking through sewing. Projects include things like sewing bags for school kits for Mennonite Central Committee, comforter’s for MCC’s Great Winter Warm-Up Campaign, or hosting sewing skills class in partnership with Exceptional Parents Unlimited.
