Nuttall’s Woodpecker
The bird from our watershed for April is the Nuttall’s Woodpecker. The range of the Nuttall’s Woodpecker’s is limited almost exclusively to California, with some extending into northern Baja California. They are typically found in riparian habitats near streams and their nesting season is March-July.
